A big change

How I am?
Nothing special.
I've been working for the restaurant 5 days a week and pretending to study every day.

Oh, I had a big change.

A couple of days ago...........
I got to the restaurant to work.

The moment I got in the restaurant, I knew something was different.
I didn't take much time to recognize what that was.

What was they changed a music CD to another one.
They play one CD whole day long 7 a week.

The last time they changed CDs was about 6 months ago.
I've been sick of listening to those songs from one CD.
It's more than that.
If I listen to those songs, I feel I'm doing the waiter job.

The other day, I went to a Chinese restaurant to eat with my friends.
At one point, I heard the song which I was very familiar with.

I mean that one of songs which I listen to every day at the chinese restaurant I work for.
Even though I was a customer there,

Unconsciously, I started checking how all tables were.

I was fixing to ask one customer "Is every thing O.K?"

What they changed their music CDs was

the biggest news during these 2 weeks to me.

Seattle drip

There is a coffee shop, "Seattle drip", in front of the restaurant I work for.
It is a little hut and selling coffee for drives.
Even though I've passed by it more than 1 year, I had never been there.

Selling for drives was the main reason I haven't been there.
However, since I love coffees, I have really wanted to go there.
Finally, I had chance to go there a couple of days ago.
When I got there, I began to get nervous because I walk to there.

They take orders from one window and give them from another window.
I started thinking which window I should I wait for coffee at.

After much consideration............

I ordered one and walk to the other window and was waiting for it.

She put coffee in a cup and tried to bring it to the same window.
She knew I was not there.

She hung over from the window to look for me while I was watching her from the opposite window.

Finally, she turned round and found me.

She gave me the cup of coffee while she was cracking up.

Since I was embarrassed for a while, I don't remember how the coffee was.
But I wouldn't go there anymore.

The ring

I was getting ready to go to the restaurant this morning.
When I was changing clothes, I heard my phone ringing.
I knew it was my co-worker because I had called her earlier to ask her to pick me up.
I knew she was in the parking lot of my apartment.
I didn' want to answer because I wanted to leave as soon as possible.
While I was fixing to leave my apartment, the ring stopped.
I was thinking "I'm coming, I'm coming."
However, when I was just out of the apartment, the phone rang again.
Since I couldn't see her car, I picked up the phone and asked

"where are you?"

What I heard was

"in Houston, now"

in man's voice.

It took 3 seconds to understand it.

It was my fried who was traveling in South America.
He called me since his flight stopped by the Houston airport.
While I was talking to him on the phone, the familiar car appeared.

Happy ending.

making you get hungry

Lately, I work at the Chinese restaurant 5 days in a week.
I have nothing special to update on this blog.

When I entered the library this afternoon, I saw one of my friends studying.
I had a couple of things to talk to her, so I walked to her.
The moment I got to her and was fixing to call her name, she turned up her face.
and she said "I knew it's you because I smelled "Chinese Foods".

I had actually put cologne on me.
...............even though I used a good one.
It should smell excellent.

I went back to my aprtment to take a shower.

I'm doing well.

I couldn't fall asleep last night, so I started listening to music around midnight.
I began to compile a list of which songs I want to play during my wedding ceremony.

I listened to more than 40 songs. I really enjoyed myself, and have finally chosen a coupole of songs. I went to sleep at 3:00 and slept very happily.

For sure, I will be using those songs.

Today, I will start looking for my partner.

important custom in the United States

Whenever customers don't leave tips, it freaks me out.
Leaving tips is a custom of the USA.

Before I moved to the United States 2 years ago,

I got two books:
"Lonely Planet" (for America) and
"How to Walk on the Earth" (for America)

These are very good guide books for tourists and / or immigrants.

Before traveling to restaurants in the USA, I want them to read those books.
I should let them borrow those books, so they can learn about customary dining habits in the United States.
